Are you a customer-focused, proactive individual looking for a stable, ongoing casual opportunity in one of Brisbane’s premier government-managed precincts?

South Bank Corporation is looking for a Car Park Officer to join our team at the iconic South Bank Parklands. As a key face of the precinct, you will serve as both the first and last point of contact for our visitors, ensuring a seamless, safe, and positive parking experience.

This is an ongoing casual position offering permanent placement with a dynamic, dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by assisting patrons, answering inquiries, providing directions, and resolving issues with a positive, can-do attitude.

Traffic & Access Control: Manage vehicle entry and exit to ensure smooth traffic flow, prevent congestion, and troubleshoot parking access control systems.

Facilities & Equipment Upkeep: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on parking equipment (entry/exit gates, card readers, barriers) and perform general car park cleaning (including operating ride-on equipment).

Safety & Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems, enforce parking regulations, log incident reports, and assist with first aid or emergency responses when required.

What We Are Looking For

Customer Service Focus: Proven experience in customer-facing roles with strong verbal communication skills.

Licensing: Active Manual Driver’s License (required).

Technical Skills: Sound computer skills, experience with cash handling, and a CCTV Certificate.

Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Safety Mindset: A proactive approach to workplace health, safety, and emergency response procedures.
